Regular Club Runs and Training Sessions

Club members frequently run with a group on a more or less regular schedule. Some groups have a specific goal such as training for a race on a specific date, or getting in shape for a marathon. Others exist because the members enjoy the company and conversation while getting some regular exercise. The real reason for the Saturday morning gathering, though, is for the post-run breakfast at Bob Evans on Preston. Please note the running part is not a prerequisite.

Because there is no formal membership, finding and joining one of these groups takes a little effort. Saturday morning at Iroquois Park around 8:00 is a popular pre-run meeting place for many Hill Runners. Just ask one of the folks hanging around the bulletin board in the parking lot and you should be able find a place to fit in.

If you run with a group that's not listed below please let the webmaster know and we'll be glad to include it. Please help us fill in the blanks.

Other Courses

The Hard 10
A traditional IHR route. A difficult 10-mile run with several moderate hills during two loops around the bottom of Iroqois Park and one around the top. Follow this link for a map. The course was re-marked in the Summer of 2003, and is slightly different than the map.

Notes

Saturday morning, Iroquois Park
These are loosely organized groups of like-skilled people. Groups typically run down Southern Parkway, around Iroquois Park, or some combination of both. Start times run from 6:30 to 8:00 depending on the group. Groups running longer usually leave earlier. The goal for most is to return in time for breakfast at Bob Evans on Preston about 10:00 - 10:30.
